Listed here at what people think as the top 10 greatest classical composers ever. Some results didn\u2019t come as a surprise, actually.<\/p>\n<p><strong>10. Gustav Mahler, 1860-1911<\/strong><br \/>\nAn Austrian composer and one of the most popular conductors of his time, his songs were considered to flow naturally into symphonic movements. One of his most popular works was Adagietto from Symphony No. 5.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/VWPACef2_eY\" height=\"315\" width=\"560\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>9. Giuseppe Verdi, 1813-1901<\/strong><br \/>\nOne of his most famous compositions is Aida. He was an Italian Romantic composer most famous for his opera works.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/b8rsOzPzYr8\" height=\"315\" width=\"560\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>8. Franz Schubert, 1779-1828<\/strong><br \/>\nOne of his most recognizable compositions was Impromptu in E Flat Major. He was an Austrian composer who died at age 32 who was famous for his Unfinished Symphony.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/f7JsLc0vrPg\" height=\"315\" width=\"560\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>7. Georg Friedrich Handel, 1685-1759<\/strong><br \/>\nHe was a popular German-born British Baroque composer who wrote the beautiful Water Music Suite 2. Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky, 1840-1893<\/strong><br \/>\n1812 Overture is one of the most renowned works of this Russian-born composer. Frederic Chopin, 1810-1849<\/strong><br \/>\nKnown for Nocturne, Chopin was born in Poland.
